Peer Mentors
Trained, certified Peer Mentors.
WarriorNOW trains and certifies veterans as Peer Mentors. They serve in Veterans Treatment Courts and in the community, for any veteran who needs another vet to talk to.
What Peer Mentors do
Another veteran in your corner.
Peer support is mentoring: a trained veteran who has walked a similar road, helping you build structure, set goals, and get back to work.
Good to know
Mentors are peers, not case managers. When a veteran needs professional help, mentors connect them to it.
What Peer Mentors do
- Check in regularly with the veterans they mentor
- Help set employment and life goals and stay accountable to them
- Connect veterans to certifications, transition education, and employers
- Support veterans through court requirements, reentry, and life milestones
- Model resiliency and steady, pro-social habits

Path 02 · In the community
Any veteran. Another vet to talk to.
One-on-one peer support for any veteran who needs another veteran to talk with.
You don't need a court case or a referral to connect with a Peer Mentor. And when you're ready to work, your mentor helps you get there: certifications, job connections, and someone in your corner on the job.
Another place to connect
